Which rooms can I book in winter?
Winter availability varies by date and accommodation. Explore our waterfront log cabins, Covered Portage suites and other collections, then check live availability or contact reservations. The room catalogue does not mean every building is open all winter.
How do I choose a cabin or suite?
Individual accommodation pages show photographs, bed configurations, published occupancy and features. Ask reservations to confirm the exact layout, accessibility, pet arrangements and any additional-guest charges for your dates. Some official photographs are shared across a collection and are labelled accordingly.
Can I bring my dog?
Pet arrangements vary by accommodation. Individual room pages include the published pet information; confirm availability, any restrictions and charges with reservations before booking.
Is Wi-Fi available in the rooms?
Connectivity and in-room amenities vary. Contact reservations about Wi-Fi, mobile coverage and televisions in your chosen accommodation before booking, especially if you plan to work during your stay.
When is the Ranch House open in winter?
Winter service runs November 6, 2026–April 18, 2027. Dinner is Friday and Saturday, 5–9 p.m.; brunch is Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m.–1 p.m. Call the lodge to reserve and discuss dietary requirements.
What can we do during a winter stay?
The confirmed winter programme includes self-guided snowshoe rentals, tastings, Fireside Stories with Mike Ranta and Paint Your Paddle. Tastings require advance reservations. Outdoor activities depend on weather and conditions.
Are the pool, sauna and waterfront open in winter?
The pool, sauna, tennis and pickleball courts, canoes and kayaks are closed for winter. Their published 2027 season is April 23–October 31. The fitness centre is open daily, 8 a.m.–8 p.m. The Great Room is open for winter fires and beverages.
What time can we arrive?
Winter reception is open daily, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Contact the lodge to confirm check-in arrangements and discuss any arrival outside reception hours; reception hours are not a promise of room check-in time.
What are the cancellation and deposit terms?
Read the terms shown for your chosen rate before confirming a booking. Reservations can explain the applicable deposit, cancellation, minimum-stay and payment terms. No single rate policy is assumed across every room or package.
